MLB Betting – It Makes Sense To Sell Reyes High

Ask any fantasy baseball manager, and they will be able to tell you without hesitations that winning comes down to the superstar power teams boast throughout their lineup on both sides of the ball. However, the more experienced fantasy baseball manager might stretch that theory a little further, and recognize that it is not just about how many stars a manager can land, but how many of them they can rely on to field on a daily basis without injury. While New York Mets’ shortstop Jose Reyes ranks among the best in baseball this year in terms of offensive production, the fact remains that his history of injuries has capped his fantasy potential at a much lower MLB betting level than it would be at if he didn’t miss so much time. That is why with the All Star break around the corner, fantasy managers that own Reyes should make sure they sell him high.

In some leagues with more experienced sports betting managers that are well aware of the risk versus reward clash that comes with Reyes, getting good value for him might not come easy. In a situation where Reyes would not net at least two quality players in return, it does not make sense for managers to part ways with the All Star shortstop. But with Reyes unlikely to continue to hit for a .354 average, and are already possibly landing on the DL with another hamstring injury, netting a couple of everyday starters that have put up good numbers and will fill gaps in the lineup should be enough to ask of Reyes at this point.
